Cliche but you need to hear it, so here we go.
You know that thing you keep putting off? Could be a small goal or large…or maybe you aren’t even putting it off, you are actually one of those people who talk about doing something every single day and never do the thing, so much so that a month has gone by and nothing has been done but you still believe it will get done and now it’s an even more extravagant plan or pile of laundry. Guilty? I can be too. Don’t get mad at me because I told you what I am here for! LEVELING UP. Lol. We are doing it together! “Oh I’d love to travel the world doing what I love” “I’d love to quit my 9-5 and do photography full time.” What percent of the world actually take their idea and passions and put it into play? Not many.
Even with small things just make the moves. I’ve learned when I want to get something done that I dont know anything about, to teach myself. Do you know how big the internet is? Or how many people are willing to help you but you always act like you’ve got it so no one offers. There are people on stand by with knowledge that you do not have, that are willing to help and share that knowledge with you. Ask. Ask for directions, Ask the internet, take criticism. Say YOU ARE RIGHT, now I can be better at this next time, THANK YOU. I didn’t know how to use a drill last month or a leaf blower and here I am assembling things and doing yard work HAHA. The world needs to be a more helpful place with more of a willingness to learn and an open mind. People are too worried about being better,smarter,faster etc. But the only reason those people are stronger,better & faster, is because they watched what others before them did to become like that and they made it a point to do those same things every day no matter what it took.
YOU CAN LITERALLY [CLICHE ALERT] BE ANYTHING YOU WANT TO BE AND DO ANYTHING YOU WANT TO DO BUT 99% OF THE WORLD IS TOO LAZY TO GO ANY FURTHER THEN MEDIOCRE LIVING. THEY’D RATHER WORK FOR THE MAN AND COMPLAIN EVERY DAY THEN USE THIS ONE CHANCE AT LIFE THEY HAVE TO BE WHATEVER THE HELL THEY WANT.
I am choosing to be a part of the 1%…to do something hard and great and take the extra mile because that sets the example for my children to do the same for their children, so on and so forth. If everyone could live at their kindest, most open minded,full potential…the world would just be a better, happier and more powerful place.
